MEET THE OWNER

Morgan opened Morgan’s Place Canine Salon in 2008 after completing an extensive grooming internship with a desire to provide home based grooming services. Her goal was to have the grooming process be as stress free as possible for each pet and chose to groom the pets of only one family at a time in order to give each pet undivided and loving attention, a practice that she continues to this day.

She participates in continuing education throughout the year to provide the most up to date and newest trends in pet grooming and has been a member in good standing with the National Dog Grooming Association of America since 2009. She has years of dog handling experience gained not only from grooming, but from showing and titling her beloved schnauzer, Lexie, in AKC agility. She is also certified in Pet CPR/First Aid.

She provides grooming services for all breeds and specializes in schnauzers, golden retrievers and doodles of all varieties. She also has a passion for grooming rare and uncommon breeds in order to further her knowledge in grooming.

In her spare time, she enjoys gourmet cooking, reading, painting , crafting and home remodeling projects. She and her husband, Doug, are long time residents of the Champaign area and are currently parents to four pugs; Hendrix, Jinx, Sioux and Dexter. They are also supporters and promoters of several dog rescue organizations throughout the Midwest.
